Youth ages 12 – 18
Do you want to go into medicine? Do you want to be a doctor, dentist, physician assistant or advanced practice nurse?
At the American Indian Youth with Stethoscopes Youth Summit, you will:
- Meet and hear from American Indian healthcare professionals
- Engage in hands-on activities using real medical equipment
- Receive a book filled with information about healthcare careers
Creating Access
We want to connect youth to high-quality work-based learning opportunities and to create access to a network of American Indian healthcare professionals. Our mission is to increase the participation of American Indian men and women in medicine. To do this, we will:
- Cultivate interest
- Provide opportunities to grow and develop skills
- Develop and deepen networks of support
